Why am I not seeing Heart Rate Recovery (HRR) data?

HRR is only calculated when your workout reaches Heart Rate Zone 4 or higher.

If your heart rate doesn’t reach that level:

  • HRR will not be generated for that workout

What you can do:

  • Increase workout intensity

  • Review your Heart Rate Zones in Settings

  • Adjust zones if needed

Why isn’t my Cardio Load showing?

Cardio Load requires both heart rate data and Resting Heart Rate (RHR).

Common reasons it may be missing:

  • Workouts do not include heart rate data

  • Not enough RHR data (at least 2 days required)

  • Missing or incomplete sleep data (used to calculate RHR)

Why are my workouts missing heart rate data?

This usually happens when:

  • The workout was recorded in an app (e.g. Strava) that does not write heart rate data to Apple Health

  • Your device was not worn during the workout

  • For Garmin workouts, heart rate is only synced every ~2 minutes

Best practice:

Record workouts using your Apple Watch to ensure full data is captured.

Why do I have duplicate workouts?

Duplicate workouts usually happen when multiple data sources write the same workout.

Common example:

  • Apple Watch + Strava + Garmin all syncing the same activity

Since some sources (like Strava) may not include heart rate data, they can cause inconsistencies.

How to fix

Option 1 (Recommended):
Go to Bevel → Profile → Data Sources → Workouts → Hide Data Sources→ Hide duplicate sources (e.g. Strava)

Option 2:
Go to Apple Health → Show All Data→ Manually delete duplicate workouts
